I think we’ve played well about twice all season. Blackburn and Norwich at home. May be a couple of battling wins could be classed as borderline playing well.

Ince just solely blaming the players...

Ince is actually saying we're crap because players are making bad decisions. Perhaps if they had decent leadership and a solid gameplan they wouldn't have to make spur of the moment decisions on their own.

There's no other way of putting it - the last week has been devastating for the club's season. Not just the results, or opponents coming up with unlikely results, just the combination of everything going in the worst possible way. We've been flirting with this fate for multiple years and we're finally succumb to footballing gravity: If you're a poorly run club, gambling on untested managers and upsetting the authorities, then you're eventually going to get relegated. I feel sorry for the players. Ince keeps picking these unbalanced teams that lack mobility. In particular, if you're going to play three at the back, at least two of them have to be reasonably quick. Leaving out the most athletic option (Mbengue), and playing Sarr, Dann and Holmes together was just hopeless - they all kept dropping deep, so the 6-yard box was packed while Preston had acres of space around the penalty spot.

I think we’ve played well about twice all season. Blackburn and Norwich at home. May be a couple of battling wins could be classed as borderline playing well. Agree with that as well. We are where we are because we just simply aren't good enough, we were just overperforming, in terms of results, in the first half of the season and I think it's because there was no expectation on us, we were dead certainties to go down in many people's eyes alongside Birmingham and Rotherham. We've not set up or played that much differently throughout the campaign. The players might be getting worse, but I think that probably comes down to age as…
